This was a project I took in UWTSD where we teamed up with members of our class and members from the Game Development course to create a game within a few months.
As part of the Game Design course, our job was to design the idea for the game and then to create the assets needed for it so that the Game Developers could implement the necessary functions for it to work.
The assets shown here are the assets I created for this project.
Our idea was of a rouge like game where you play as an alchemist trying to get to the end of a dungeon in order to find the philosopher's stone. As such alchemy played a major influence in the design of the game. It led to us designing a system around the main 4 elements in alchemy where you would find materials based on these elements to create potions, as well as the option to mix elements together to create different potions.
